Sleep, Perchance to Dream

I love sleep. It is my favorite pastime, the favorite part of my day and best part of my diet, the secret to recovery and longevity. Ask any model what she does before a shoot or a runway show, every single one will say drink lots of water and sleep, even before working out. As much as I love it, I don’t do it well, such as why I am also a big proponent of power naps. Back in 1995 NASA did a study on the perfect nap time duration. They could’ve called to ask me; i’ve known since I was 8, it’s about 25 minutes. I’m so sensitive to external stimuli, all conditions have to be pretty perfect for a … Read More

In case you don’t give a F**k about anybodies business but your own, and really are working to cultivate that, Forbes put out an article on the Ten Golden Rules for Living the Good Life. Get on it. Really essential, like worrying only … Read More

Where I Am

Absent from sharing on this blog, once again. Pardon. Super engrossed in my own creative process regardless of all the things I come across worth sharing here. I’m viewing things through a filter. Gathering ideas for my own use. Currently story-boarding my music videos, so the last two weeks have been heavy daydreaming, visualizing, brainstorming, and napping. Yes, napping. That in between conscious and sleep is the closest thing to meditation, where my songs find lines to complete themselves, where pictures help me illustrate how I want the video to look, and where I find superficial rest since I just haven’t slept well in a month!! Speaking of heavy, death has been on my mind. A lot. An amount than … Read More
