Sometimes we act impulsively and make rash decisions, scream out our emotions or simply comment too quickly before thinking thoughts through. We are allowed. We have opinions, feelings, and habits that work, therefore it’s justified. But all of this behavior is only ours, only from our perspective, our conditioning, our beliefs…

We have to stop and consider where the other is coming from. No, we don’t have to like it, agree, or even acknowledge it. But *it* still is. It is no less relevant or important or true. Even if it’s false, it’s true for them. 

Most argue points from an emotional place. Only when we learn from direct experience are we apt to change an emotional viewpoint. Empathy is more difficult than sympathy; often we can be short on that too.
